The Old Friends Band from Brodhead Wisconsin is an entertaining five piece group with three guitars, bass and drums. Lead vocalist Bob Moon also puts down his guitar and does duty on banjo and mandolin. The band specializes in dancable 50s and 60s rock and ballads, the likes of Elvis and Ricky Nelson. This format is counterbalanced with contemporary work of 70s and 80s pop, rock and country cover such as The Eagles, Allman Brothers, Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash. The Band has enjoyed their first year together at many venues. 2007 Live appearances include The Janesville Moose Lodge, Speths on the Square in Brodhead,  Three Holiday parades in Orfordville and Brodhead Wisconsin, Pecatonica IL Rotary Club events, Chamber of Commerce Car Show in Brodhead, and two fund raising concerts the Mike Menzel and Gilda's Club cancer benefits. 2008 dates are filling in. August 12, 2007 Brodhead Wisconsin Cover Bridge Days! The Band appeared at the South End celebration location behind Ayre's Chevrolet - Pontiac - Buick Dealership from 1 to 3PM after the Parade. Our Sponsor was the Brodhead Chamber of Commerce. Help from the great folks at Piggly Wiggly has made this years show possible. Pinnow Pharmacy, Speth's on Exchange and Wisconsin Insulated Forms have again teamed up with Woodstock Trucking in Footville to make the parade an enjoyable event.

We in the Band all had a great time at the 4th of July Parade, the Benefit for Mike Menzel at Spring Grove Town Hall and Covered Bridge Days.
